Referring to the post in http://www.rollakid.com/blog/?p=288 , I am “delighted” to announce that the failure rate has climbed over 10%.  46 out of 450 AVF power supply have failed within the first few hours of usage.

What happens when you decide to save a few bucks by purchasing cheapo computer power supply units?

You get:
- PSU failure here and there
- Customer complaining
- Supplier ran out of stock for warranty exchange
- Lot’s of headache

What’s all the fuss?

You have every right to protect your intellectual property, just as us consumers have the right to protect their own right. What Daniel_K done is illegal, sure, but how about you? Either you’re just as guilty of not delivering what is stated/cheating your own customer, or you’re just down right incompetent. 2 choice: 1) Admit conducting unfair business practice/model; 2) Suck it up and admit you guys just don’t cut it, sack your current developers and employ Daniel to write better drivers.

Either way, I lost faith. I’m budgeting my expenditure so I can get an xtreme gamer for games and music, until I saw what happened. So until Creative do something positive about the whole mess… I’m not buying a single creative product, ever again…

Note: I have no idea how the 1.2kg camera manage to float in the air for 30 second while I’m taking the picture though.
